If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Derwent Valley Visitor Centre Strutts Historic North Mill

The Derwent Valley Visitor Centre has been established in 1 of the country's most important industrial buildings, the second oldest fireproof iron-framed building in the world. Built in 1804, the mill was the most sophisticated and technologically advanced of the era. It now contains a range of exhibitions, models and machinery. Children enjoy searching for the mill mice after which they receive a certificate.
